The AMP Ustica became a member of MEDPAN (medpan.org), the Mediterranean network of marine protected areas. The question of the MPA of Ustica was accepted November 4. A delegation of the AMP and the Municipal Police of Ustica has participated at the annual meeting of the MEDPAN which was held in Hyeres, France, between 12 and November 14. The conference focused on the theme of surveillance in the sea, addressed issues and problems related to the control of the activities carried out within the AMP, proposing solutions through case studies presented by other MPA managers in the Mediterranean.
