The mayor of Ustica, Attilio Licciardi , and the director Amp , Joseph Charles , last Saturday , took part in Civitavecchia to the presentation of the second edition of " Crossing for a Star" , a project of solidarity weblog Core Divers in Santa Marinella and Polaris non-profit organization , in collaboration with the Friends of the Roman Docks and the participation of some administrators. To introduce the conference was the first citizen of Santa Marinella , Robert Wall .
"The project - says Federico Carletti , Core Divers Santa Marinella - last summer has seen a team of athletes with disabilities and able-bodied cross the Tyrrhenian Sea from Olbia to Santa Marinella aboard a skid row . The second edition provides an even greater, because the shoe will depart from Ustica. The physical effort of this crossing is even greater , because we are talking about 100 more miles of Olbia- Santa Marinella. But our staff is already working and disabled children of the Polar Star are already excited to perform again a great achievement which last year brought several thousand euro for charity . "
The crossing , depending on the climate, will take place between late June and the first week of July.
